The client required part of the industrial sheds to be converted into high end convention center with multiple halls of of different sizes to accommadate from 125 to 1000 persons. Concepts are based on providing green building solutions, low carbon footage and causing least demolition. Connect with outdoor has been established by creating deep landscaped avenues within the existing structure and letting in more natural light by removing existing roof on the proposed landscaped areas. This space provides much required relief to totally enclosed space. North light of existing industrial shed has been retained. The existing truss and floor are proposed to be retained. The flooring to be made interesting by adding patterns in certain places.
